PBX
Private Branch Exchange. A small version of the phone company's larger
central switching office usually installed in a corporate facility.
Phone-Set Interface
An interface with the Remote units through a users phone providing a
limited set of configuration parameters.
PSTN
Public Switched Telephone Network..
Punch Block
A device used to connect one group of wires to another. A punch block is
used to connect the digital lines from the PBX to the RJ-21 cable
connected to the PBXgateway.
Q
QOS
Quality of Service. A measure of the telephone service quality provided to
a subscriber.
