Power-Up Once the PBXgateway is properly connected, plug the unit into an AC outlet. The device will begin a series of self-diagnostic tests, which are displayed as a series of LED flashes. AC Power LAN Connection 100-240 V ~ 0.8A 50-60 HZ... -

Press “Enter” to start the PBXgateway shell….. Note: If the PBXgateway is powered up prior to opening the terminal program, this message will not appear. 3. Press Enter and the Welcome Screen of the Management Interface (MI) will appear. - Page 11 Press any key to continue. The Main Menu will appear (see Figure 6, on page 12). If you are familiar with the PBXgateway MI, proceed to the page 15 for information on setting the parameters for the network types. Press F1 for the MI Help Screen. The MI has a built-in Help Screen (see Figure 5, below) which provides basic information for navigating through the interface.

Optional Configuration The PBXgateway MI has optional configuration parameters providing the following capabilities: 1. Admin Password – If configured, this option restricts access to the EXTender 6000 Management Interface, by requiring a password for entry. This Admin Password MUST be entered before any configuration parameters are changed.
