Auto Clear Setting
Initial Function
Selected Function
Details of each option are as follows:
<Initial Function>
The function specified as the initial function is displayed after the Auto Clear mode
initiates. For example, if you set the Scan function as the initial function, and the Auto
Clear mode initiates while a settings screen for the Copy function is shown, the display
returns to the initial Scan menu.
<Selected Function>
The display returns to the main menu of the function that was displayed before the Auto
Clear mode is activated. For example, if you set the Copy function as the initial
function, and the Auto Clear mode initiates while a settings screen for the Scan function
is shown, the display returns to the initial Scan menu.
The selected mode is set.

Setting the Toner Save Mode

Setting the Toner Save Mode enables you to select the level of toner consumption
for printing. Use this setting if you want to save toner and expect a prolonged life of
the toner cartridge.
NOTE
If the Toner Save Mode is set to 'High', print quality may be affected. If you notice a
degradation in print quality, set this mode to 'Off'.
The default setting is 'Off'.
