Identifying the Type of Paper in a Paper Source

This setting enables you to specify the paper type loaded in each paper drawer.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to set the paper type correctly. If the type of paper is not set correctly, the setting
could adversely affect the quality of the image. Moreover, the fixing unit may become
dirty and require a service repair to avoid a paper jam.
<Drawer 2> appears only if the optional Cassette Feeding Module-J1 or -K1 is attached.
<Drawer 3> (as well as <Drawer 4>) appears only if the optional Cassette Feeding
Module-K1 is attached.
NOTE
For more information on paper types, see "Available Paper Stock," on p. 8-17.
The default setting is 'Plain' for all paper sources.
