Names of Parts and Functions

Front Side of the Machine

Left maintenance cover
Open the cover in maintenance.
Even when the power button is off, keep all
covers closed.
External ink supply unit
Put the ink in the ink tank.
Ink tank
Each tank contains
an ink of a particular
color.
Stand
Supports the main body
of the machine.
Platen
The printed media is sent out, sliding on the platen. Five
heaters are installed inside the platen.
Print heater/ Post 1L_2L-heater/ Post 1R_2R-heater
Fixes and dries the ink on the currently produced print.
(Located inside the platen)
Tension bar
It supports to stabilize the tension
to wind up roll media.
Chapter 1 Before Use
Front cover
Open the cover in setting of medias, taking of
measures against jamming of medias or in
maintenance inside the station.
Even when the power button is off, keep this cover
and the other covers closed.
Clamp lever (front)
Moves the pinch rollers up
and down to hold or release
the media.
Operation panel
This panel has the operation
keys required for operating the
machine and the LCDs for
displaying setting items, etc.
Right maintenance cover
Open the cover in maintenance.
Waste ink tank
Waste ink gathers in this tank.
Take-up device
Take up the output drawn with a roll
medium automatically.
