An AC is an Ethernet service instance on a Layer 2 Ethernet interface or Layer 2 aggregate interface. The
AC forwards packets that are received on the interface and meet the match criteria of the Ethernet service
instance to the bound VSI.
On a PE, configure an Ethernet service instance on the Layer 2 Ethernet interface or Layer 2 aggregate
interface that connects to a CE to match packets for the AC.
To configure an Ethernet service instance:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter Layer 2 Ethernet
interface view or Layer 2
aggregate interface view.
3.
Create an Ethernet service
instance and enter Ethernet
service instance view.
4.
Configure match criteria for
the Ethernet service instance.

Configuring a VSI

Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a VSI and enter VSI
view.
3.
(Optional.) Configure a
description for the VSI.
4.
(Optional.) Set the default PW
ID for the VSI.
5.
Set an MTU for the VSI.
6.
(Optional.) Enable the VSI.
Command

Enter Layer 2 aggregate interface

Match all incoming packets:
encapsulation default
Match incoming packets with any

specific outer VLAN ID:
