3. Complete the properties of the NFS export:
a. Type a descriptive name in the Name: field and go to the Path: field.
b. If the path does not exist, the path is set by default in the to the new
export name defined in the Name: field. If there are previously existing
NFS exports, type <existing export path>/<new folder name>), or click
Browse next to the Path: field to set an existing path.
c. Select a path directory and click OK.
d. Check the Port Security box if you want to only allow connections
originating from a port that is 1024 and below.
4. Click Next. The Allowed hosts window displays the Host name, Access Type,
and Anonymous Mapping.
5. Click Add to add host access from the Host Access window. From the Add
Host Access window, you can:
v Allow all hosts grants all hosts access to the export.
v Allow selected hosts grants access only to specified hosts that appear in the
Allowed hosts list.
6. Type the selected Host IP address, or partial address, in the Host IP field.
Note: To allow host access to all hosts, type an asterisk (*) in the Host IP
field.
7. Choose the host Permissions:
v Write enabled
v Read only
8. Choose the User ID Mapping:
v Root squash.
Map root users to anonymous user/group IDs.
v No root squash.
