Complete this task to recover the configuration of a replaced server as part of the
recovery process.
Procedure

IBM TS7650G Deduplication Gateway for ProtecTIER
e. Select Display version information. The ProtecTIER version is shown in
the first line of output, in the first three digits after the colon. The version
information looks similar to the following message:
PT version : 3.4.1
If the ProtecTIER version is correct, continue to the next step. If the
ProtecTIER version is incorrect, the installation has failed. Contact IBM
Support for assistance.
1. After the system boots up from installing the ProtecTIER package, type
ptconfig at the login as: prompt and ptconfig at the password: prompt. The
ProtecTIER Service Menu is displayed:
