Defragmentation on a repository
Defragmentation is the process to allocate fragmented space on a repository as
defragmented so that this space can be used to write new data.
Important: Contact a trained ProtecTIER specialist before performing this
operation.
A ProtecTIER repository becomes fragmented over time. The Defragmentation
control operation gathers the fragmented (i.e. free, but unusable) space together in
order to improve the speed of reading and writing new data to the repository.
Deleting repositories
Complete this task to delete a repository.
