30.12.9 Retriggered alarms
Retriggered alarm/alert is used together with route steering. If there are some changes in the sensors connected to
TCS that may affect route steering, a retriggered alarm occurs. These "reminder" alarms can be:
•
Lost of heading in autopilot
•
Loss of speed data
•
Low speed
•
Loss of SOG/COG reference
•
Loss of position
•
Loss of differential position
•
Loss of differential position and position discrepancy
The reminders are generated at certain time interval and eventually route steering is stopped, or in lost differential
position is changed to Goto WP.
When a warning appears a short beep sound is generated. Unacknowledge warning is shown in black text (or white
depending on color scheme) on yellow background flashing and acknowledged alarm that still exists is shown on
yellow background. If warning is not acknowledged after 60 seconds beeps sound continuously until acknowledged.
