How to adjust the parallel index lines

Parallel index lines are useful for keeping a constant distance between own ship and a coastline or a partner ship
when navigating.
Controls for the parallel index lines are in the NAV Marks dialog box. To display the Nav. Marks dialog box, spin
the scrollwheel to display Show Value/Info/Nav Marks in the mouse functions area then push the right mouse
button. Open the Parallel Index page to adjust the parallel index lines. There are four sets of parallel indexes for use.
PI1- PI4: Select desired Parallel index (PI1-PI4) number in the list box: Put the cursor
in the box, spin the scrollwheel to select then push the scrollwheel. Turn the parallel
index line ON or OFF by placing the cursor on ON or OFF, spinning the scrollwheel
then pushing the scrollwheel.
°R(T) (Bearing): Set line angle setting in the bearing box. Select °T(True)
or °R(Relative).
NM (Distance): Set distance (NM) between lines.
Index Lines: Select number of index lines to display 1, 2, 3 or 6.
Mode: Set index line reference to own ship heading: parallel or perpendicular.
Reset PI Lines: Reset Bearing to relative 0 degrees, Distance to 1 NM and Mode to
Parallel.
