Control Unit RCU-015

The Control Unit RCU-015 provides minimum
configuration with controls that function as described below.
Power: Turns the system on/off. (This control does not
switch the display on/off.)
F1-F4: Execute function assigned. Press more than two
seconds to restore monitor brilliance to calibrated state.

Hot Keys

Hot keys (F1-F4 on the Control Unit RCU-015 and F1 and F2 on the Control Unit RCU-018) are provided to call a
desired function/menu when pressed. You may select desired function/menu from a predefined list. To select desired
function/menu for each key, do the following

How to configure hot keys

1. Spin the scrollwheel to show Menu/Info/Chart Menu in the mouse
functions area.
2. Click the left mouse button.
3. Spin the scrollwheel to select Initial Settings then push the scrollwheel.
4. Put the cursor on the triangle in the dialog box to show the Initial
Settings menu.
5. Spin the scrollwheel to select Function keys then push the scrollwheel.
The dialog box shown right (example: Control Unit RCU-015) appears.
6. Check Enable changes.
7. Put the cursor on the box for F1, F2, F3 or F4 as appropriate then spin
the scrollwheel to select desired function or menu. The choices are
ALARM ACK: Acknowledge ECDIS-generated alert.
CHART DISPLAY: Opens Chart Display dialog box.
CHART MENU: Opens chart menu.
INITIAL SETTINGS: Display Initial Settings dialog box
MENU: Opens Main menu.
RADAR: Displays Radar Overlay dialog box.
RANGE-: Lowers chart scale.
RANGE+: Raises chart scale.
SCROLL: Scrolls display.
SENSORS: Opens Sensors dialog box.
SET CHART CENTER: Sets chart center as selected with the cursor.
SET SHIP CENTERED: Centers your ship's position.
SET SHIPOFFCENTER: Offcenters ship position to cursor location.
STANDARD DISPLAY: Calls up standard display; restores monitor brilliance to calibrated state.
SYMBOL DISPLAY: Opens Symbol Display dialog box.
TM RESET: Resets your ship's position in true motion.
