Caster wheels and caster forks

The combination of caster wheels and caster forks ensures the ability to hold a straight line and navigate bends se-
curely� Sport casters (Ø 3") are installed on the wheelchair�

Approach in case of stiffness

In case of stiffness, the caster forks or caster wheel axles should be cleaned and oiled�
Oiling the caster forks
INFORMATION
The assembly tasks described below may only be carried out by qualified personnel�
1) Loosen and remove the screw connections on both caster housings (see Fig� 26, item 1)�
2) Pull the frame joints up and out of both caster housings (see Fig� 26)�
3) Remove dirt from the caster fork around the hexagon nut (see Fig� 27, item 1)�
4) Add a few drops of thin, resin-free oil to the housing (sewing machine oil)�
5) Re-insert the frame joints in both caster housings (see Fig� 26)�
6) Insert the screw connections into both caster housings and firmly tighten them (see Fig� 26, item 1)�
