Calibrate the printer

Calibrate the printer when you see the calibration indicator
dashboard. (See
IMPORTANT
You are strongly advised to perform a daily printer calibration.

Before you begin
Media for calibration
Prepare calibration media according to the calibration media specifications. (See
calibration on page
Procedure
1.
Load the calibration media.
NOTE
Although it is advised to perform the default selected calibration procedures, you can touch
[Printer calibration details] to change the following selections:
• [Shading correction].
• [Auto gradation adjustment]
2.
Connect the Eye-One spectrophotometer to the USB port in the control panel.
3.
Touch [System] -> [Color adjustment] -> [Start printer calibration].
4.
Follow the instructions on the operator panel.
5. Select [Automatic (internal sensor)] in the [Calibration method] window.
