Maintain the [Media families]
Introduction
A media family is a set of media with the same output profile (one per halftone) and calibration.
By default, the controller provides the media families coated and uncoated. An expert can create
a new media family for a specific group of media. A media family has one output profile for the
following halftones.
• [Normal]
• [Fine]
• [Error diffusion]
Before you begin
Make sure you have the following information.
• Key operator password
Procedure
1. From the navigation bar, select the [Media] tab.
2. From the [Media] tab, select [Media family].
The [Media families] window appears.
