Perform a media registration

Procedure
1.
Start the registration procedure from one of the following locations:
• The trays view:
1. Touch [Trays].
2. Select the tray with the media you want to register.
3. Touch [Optimize].
• The media catalog:
1. Touch [System] -> [Media].
2. Select a media from the [Media catalog].
2. Touch [Registration].
3. Determine which media registration you want to perform.
• For manual media registration, enter the required corrections, then touch [OK].
You can make corrections for both the front and back side. Use [Describe front side] and
[Describe back side] to toggle between both sides.
Manual media registration ends here.
• For wizard media registration, touch [Start] at [Registration wizard].
Continue with the next step.
4. Read the instructions carefully and touch [Next].
Please wait while a media registration sheet is printed.
5. Check the media registration chart.
• If the media registration sheet is correct, you can stop the media registration procedure.
• If the media registration sheet is wrong, continue with the next step.
An instruction window opens.
6. Follow the instructions on the window.
7.
Touch [Finish].
8.
Repeat step 1 - 6 to check the result.
