Calibrate the printer
Before you begin
Make sure you have an Eye-One spectrophotometer connected to the USB connector of the
operator panel.
Make sure you use one of the following media.
• Canon CS-814 81.4 g/m²
• Océ Top Colour FSC 100 g/m²
• Mondi Neusiedler 100 g/m²
• International Paper Hammermill 105 g/m²
Procedure
1.
Load the required media.
NOTE
Although it is best to perform the default calibration procedures, you can touch [Printer
calibration details] to change the following selections:
• [Shading correction].
• [Auto gradation adjustment]
2. Touch [System] -> [Color adjustment] -> [Start printer calibration].
3.
Follow the instructions on the operator panel.
4.
Select [Automatic (internal sensor)] in the [Calibration method] window.
