Secure the fuel tank tray in the fuselage using the hardware
listed. Tighten the screws using a 2mm hex wrench.

Place a drop of canopy glue on the threads of the
screws before installing them. This will keep them from
vibrating loose, yet make them easy to remove if necessary.

Slide the tank in the fuselage, making sure the vent line
inside the tank is facing toward the top of the fuselage. The
neck of the tank fi ts into the hole in the fi rewall. Secure the
tank using the hook and loop strap.

Use a pencil to mark the locations for the fuel tank brace.

Use a pin vise and 1/16-inch (1.5mm) drill bit to drill the
holes for the mounting screws. Thread the screws into the
holes to cut threads in the surrounding wood. Remove the
screws, then apply a small amount of thin CA in each hole to
harden the surrounding wood.

Wrap the ignition battery in 1/4-inch (6mm) foam. Plug the
battery into the switch harness, then secure the battery inside
the fuselage next to the fuel tank.

den Akku mit dem Schalter und sichern ihn im Rumpf neben
dem Tank.

When using a lighter engine or ignition battery, the
receiver pack can be located closer to the front of the
fuselage on the opposite side of the ignition battery to help
reduce the amount of weight required to balance your model.
