Tape a piece of card stock to the fuselage to indicate the location of the muffler, needle valve, and any other items that may
require access when the cowl is mounted. Slide the cowl on the fuselage, and transfer these locations onto the cowl. Use a
drill, rotary tool and sanding drum to make any cut-outs in the cowl before securing it to the fuselage.

Slide the muffler screws through the engine. Place the
muffler extension and gaskets included with the engine on
the screws. Be careful when mounting the cowl so the screws
and extension remain in position until the muffler can be
attached.
Drehen Sie die Schalldämpferbefestigungsschrauben ein und
setzen die Schalldämpferdichtung aus dem Lieferumfang
des Motors auf die Schrauben. Sein Sie beim Aufsetzen der
Motorhaube dann bitte vorsichtig dass die Schrauben in
Position bleiben und der Schalldämpfer montiert werden
kann.
Inserire le viti del silenziatore attraverso il motore. Mettere la
prolunga del silenziatore e le guarnizioni fornite insieme al
motore. Occorre fare attenzione quando si mette la capottina
motore in modo che le viti e la prolunga restino in posizione
per poter montare il silenziatore.

Secure the cowling to the fuselage. Attach the spinner and
propeller at this time. Openings in the cowl allows access to
the muffler screws and needle valve.
Schrauben Sie die Motorhaube am Rumpf fest. Montieren Sie
jetzt den Propeller und Spinner. Mit den Öffnungen im Rumpf
sollten Sie problemlos die Schalldämpferschrauben und
Vergasernadeln erreichen können.
