Position the fin on the stabilizer, aligning it with the fuselage
centerline. Carefully transfer the outline of the fin on the
stabilizer.
Setzen Sie die Finne auf das Leitwerk und richten es an der
Mittellinie des Rumpfes aus. Zeichnen Sie vorsichtig die
Außenlinie der Finne auf das Leitwerk.

Carefully remove the covering from the stabilizer. Trim the
covering 1/16 inch (1.5mm) inside the lines drawn in the
previous step.
Entfernen Sie vorsichtig 1,5mm, hinter der gezeichneten
Markierung an der Innenseite die Bespannung.
Togliere con cura il rivestimento dallo stabilizzatore restando
circa 1,5mm all'interno della linea tracciata prima.
Î We recommend using a soldering iron or hot knife to
remove the covering to reduce the chances of cutting into
the underlying wood, which will weaken the stabilizer.

Apply epoxy to the bottom of the fin and to the area of the
stabilizer where the covering was removed.
Streichen Sie Epoxy auf die Unterseite der Finne und auf die
Stelle wo Sie die Bespannung entfernt haben.
Mettere della colla epoxy sulla parte inferiore della deriva
e sull'area dello stabilizzatore da cui è stato rimosso il
rivestimento.

Place the fin into position, making sure it is aligned with
the fuselage centerline. Use a square to make sure the fin
is aligned square to the stabilizer. Use low-tack tape to hold
the fin in position until the epoxy fully cures. Use a paper
towel and isopropyl alcohol to remove any excess epoxy
before it has cured.
Setzen Sie die Finne in Position und achten bitte darauf,
dass sie korrekt zur Mitte ausgerichtet ist. Richten Sie die
Finne mit Hilfe eines Rechtecks oder Geodreieck im rechten
Winkel aus. Verwenden Sie Klebeband mit geringer Klebekraft
um die Finne in Position halten bis der Kleber vollständig
ausgehärtet ist. Wischen Sie mit Papiertüchern und
Isopropyalkohol überschüssigen Kleber weg bevor er trocknet.
Mettere in posizione la deriva accertandosi che sia allineata
con la linea centrale della fusoliera. Con una squadra
controllare che la deriva sia allineata correttamente con
lo stabilizzatore. Tenere in posizione la deriva con nastro
a bassa adesività, finché la colla non è asciutta. Con un
tovagliolo di carta e alcol isopropilico togliere gli eccessi di
colla epoxy prima che si indurisca.
