Replacing the Imaging Guides

Slide the imaging guide out of the guide track and
remove it from the scanner.
Lower Imaging Guide

Discard the used imaging guide.
6.
Wipe both sides of the new lower imaging guide (part
number 857 5292) with a fresh staticide wipe (part
number 830 9783).
Always wipe away from the patch to ensure
CAUTION:
that debris is not deposited on the patch.
Do not use an emulsiclean wipe (part number
CAUTION:
137 4966) as this will introduce static which will
collect dust particles.
7.
Dry both sides of the new lower imaging guide with a
dry staticide wipe. When complete, there should be no
smudges on the image guide.
Do not use a paper or cloth towel as these will

introduce particles into the transport area.
