ViewStation FX/VS 4000 User's Guide

VCR Audio Out Always On—If you connect the same device
to both the VCR input and VCR output, then you may need to
disable this feature to prevent an audio feedback loop.
Highlight the Video/Camera icon to access the Video and Camera
screen. From this screen you can access settings for Cameras,
Monitors, and VGA output.
Cameras
Use the Cameras screen to change the settings for the ViewStation
FX or VS4000 cameras. To disable cameras, set your camera inputs
as S-video or composite (VS4000 only), and enable pan/tilt/zoom
capability on a camera.For more information about the settings on
this screen, refer to the Adjusting Cameras and Sound section of
Chapter 2, Using the ViewStation FX and the VS4000.

High Resolution Camera and 4CIF Implementation
Both the ViewStation FX and VS4000 support 4CIF, a video
resolution standard defined by 704 pixels per line and 576 lines per
video image. 4CIF resolution is four times higher than CIF (352
pixels per line and 288 lines per video image), a standard commonly
supported on video communications systems. With 4CIF, more data
is transmitted and processed, resulting in crisper images. 4CIF
should only be implemented on document cameras or VGA scan
