ViewStation FX/VS 4000 User's Guide
Advanced V.35 Setup
In this screen, you can define parameters for each call connection
function. For more information on the advanced V.35 setup, see
Chapter 4, Advanced Configuration.
IMUX (BRI)
Use this screen to reconfigure the following ISDN information:
•
Numbers - Use the ISDN Video Numbers screen to enter your
area code and ISDN video numbers.
•
SPIDs - You can enter your SPID number manually or select
START to automatically detect the numbers.
•
Audio Quality - The Audio Quality Preference screen lets you
select the line speed. At above 168 kilobits per second, the
system uses G.722 48kb high-fidelity audio. When placing a call
at 168 kilobits per second and below, the system uses G.728
16kb audio.
•
Advanced Dialing - You can select "Dial Channels in Parallel" or
"Dial Channels one at a time." with "Dial Channels in Parallel,"
all ISDN channels are dialed simultaneously.
With "Dial Channels one at a time," each ISDN channel is dialed
only after the previous channel has connected. Use this option
if the network has problems dialing all the channels at one time.

Dialing speeds - This screen lets you select the speeds that will
be displayed on the video phone.
IMUX (PRI EI)
•
Numbers - Use the PRI Video Numbers screen to enter your
area code and your PRI Video Numbers. If your system is on a
PBX, enter the prefix number for an outside line.

PRI Network - For more information, refer to the Advanced PRI
Configurations chapter.
•
Dialing speeds - This screen lets you select the speeds that will
be displayed on the video phone.
