YPVS valve inspection
1. Eliminate:
• Carbon deposits
(using a rounded scraper 1)
CAUTION:
Do not use a sharp instrument to avoid
damaging or scratching the surfaces.
2. Check:
• YPVS valve assembly
Cracks/damage/wear → Replace.
YPVS valve installation
1. Install:
• Oil seals
Distance a:
1.0–1.5 mm (0.039–0.059 in)
NOTE:
Install the oil seal with the marks b facing
inward.
