Server Name

Use this option to change the server name and add a comment. This is useful to create a
group of servers with similar names (for example, Finance-Snap123) so they can be easily
identified using SSM.
Edit the following fields and click OK.

Option Description
Server Name The default server name is SNAPnnnnnnn, where nnnnnnn is
your server number. For example, the default name for a
SnapServer with the serial number 1234567 would be
Snap1234567. If desired, enter a unique server name of up to 15
alphanumeric characters. In addition to letters and numbers, you
can also use a dash (–) between characters, but spaces are not
allowed.
NOTE:
Server Comment Optionally, add a comment (for example, server location) specific
to the server.
