Removing-refitting (1747 16V engine)
1. Undo the nut shown and remove the bat­
tery from the vehicle.
N OTE When removing the co ver positioned
on the positive battery terminal, act
as described on page 113.
2. Remove the flow meter from the bodyshell
undoing the bolts shown.
3. Disconnect the connections and the
bands, then remove the flow meter com­
plete with pipes from the vehicle.
4. Undo the bolts fixing the butterfly casing
and move it aside.
