REPLACING LOCK
BARREL
1. Remove the tail-gate interior trim as de­
scribed on page 16 and the lock as de­
scribed on pgae 18. Then work from i n ­
side the taii
y
a.e to unscrew the opening
handle retaining bolts.
2. Undo the fastening block tabs and remove
the tail-gate opening handle.
3. Insert the key in the lock barrel, then lift
the retaining clip indicated by the arrow.
4. Remove the lock barrel and replace.
N O T E Reverse removal operation sequence
to refit.
