Drive Shaft Removal - Honda 2003 NPS50 Ruckus Service Manual

FINAL REDUCTION
Remove the seven bolts and hose clamp.
Remove the transmission case and drain all oil to
the suitable container from the transmission case.
Remove the dowel pins.
Clean any sealant from the transmission case mat­
ing su rface.
Remove the thrust washers and countershaft.
Remove the final gear shaft, counter gear and side
washer.
Clean the transmission case mating surface.
DRIVESHAFT REMOVAL
Remove the driveshaft using the special tool.
TOOL:
Case puller
Remove the driveshaft oil seal and bearing.
