M U FFLER
REMOVAL
Remove the two exhaust pipe joint nuts.
NOTE:
Remove the fender bolt, two muffler mounting bolts
and muffler.

Muffler mounting bolts;
Upper: Short
Lower: Long
Remove the gasket.
INSTALLATION
Replace the gasket with a new one.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
MUFFLER PROTECTOR
REMOVAL/INSTALlATION
Remove the bolts and muffler protector.
The muffler protec­
tor can be serviced
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
