TROUBLESHOOTING
Preliminary Check
1. Check the indicator on the top of the battery. If the indicator is blue, the battery is normal.
2. If the indicator is not blue, the electrolyte level of the battery is low, or capacity is insuffi­
cient, or both. (Refer to page 5—5)
Charge the battery until the indicator becomes blue, or replace the battery with a fully
charged one.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON, and check that
the alternator warning light illuminates.
4. Start the engine, and check that the alternator warning light goes off.
