Displaying Call Destination for Incoming Calls
The IP Phones allow an Administrator to enable and disable the call destination
name in the "TO" header of the INVITE message for incoming calls. When this
feature is enabled, the call destination name displays on the LCD of the phone.
This allows the user to easily determine the intended destination of an incoming
call.
Behavior of the Phone
When this feature is enabled, the phone behaves as follows:
IF
A value exists for the Display Name field in
the "TO" header of the INVITE message for
incoming calls...
Display Name field is empty...
"Screen name 1" parameter is empty...
"Display Name" parameter is empty...
"SIP User Name" parameter is empty...

the phone displays the call destination
name.
the phone uses the name specified for the
"Screen name 1" parameter.
the phone uses the name specified for the
"Display Name" parameter.
the phone uses the name specified for the
"SIP User Name" parameter.
the phone uses the name specified for the
