17.4 Replacing the seat adjustment actuator motor (without lifter
module)
17.4.1

Disassembly

Loosen all cable connections from the
vehicle seat, remove the quick-release bolt
(1), unlock the rear seat fastening pull-catch
and remove the seat frame.
Remove the battery boxes (2) and chassis
central cover (3).
Pull the actuator motor plug from the
connector socket and cut the cable binders
by which the cable is attached to the frame.
Loosen and remove the lower fastening
screw (4) and the hexagon nut (5).
Push the bush sideways through the
fastening angles (6) and remove the
actuator motor.

17.4.2 Reassembly

Lead the new actuator motor between the
fastening angles and reinsert the bush
sideways. Fasten the actuator motor by
tightening the lower fastening screw (4) and
the hexagon nut (5).
Lead the motor cable to the connector board
and put the plug into the socket. Here, care
is to be taken that the cable cannot get
pinched during operation.
Fasten the cables again by means of cable
binders.
Reposition the seating frame again and fix
the actuator motor to the seating frame
using the quick-release bolt.
Now mount again the battery boxes (2) and
the chassis central cover (3).
Carry out a performance test.
Caution:
The hexagon nut (5) is self-locking and
