Note:
Backrest upholstery is available in versions for the following seating systems:
SB 25 / RH 32, SB 30 / RH 37 and SB 35 / RH 42.
The fixing point locations for the attachment (14) on the seat support (26) are dependent
on the seating system used. Screw lengths are different depending on the seating
system.
Before complete disassembly of the backrest unit, the headrests, backrest trunk
supports, armrests, actuator motors or manual backrest adjustment must be removed,
in addition to the joystick box and any other components fixed to the backrest tubes.

11.7.1 Disassembly of the backrest unit

Loosen two bolts (25) with a 4 mm spanner and pull the push handle (23) out of the
backrest tubes (7).
Completely remove clamping lever for the headrests, and unscrew the two screws (1) and
two screws (8) with a Phillips screwdriver so that the backrest upholstery (11) can be
removed.
Loosen bolts (18) and nuts (12) with 13 mm spanner, and remove together with washers
(15 and 17) and bushes (19),so that the safety belts (10 and 20) can be removed.
Loosen bolts (16) and nuts with 13 mm spanner and remove together with washers (15), so
that the backrest adjustment attachment (14) can be removed from the seat support (26)
together with the backrest upholstery attachment (9) and the backrest tubes (7). While
doing this ensure that the headed bushes (13) are not lost.
Loosen four bolts (5) with 4 mm spanner, and pull the backrest tube (7) off the backrest
upholstery attachment (9).
Loosen two bolts (21) with 5 mm spanner, and separate the backrest upholstery attachment
(9) from the backrest adjustment attachment (14). While doing this ensure that the distance
bushes (22) are not lost.
If necessary, mark the position of the nuts (6) on the backrest tubes (7), and then remove
the nuts (6) from the backrest tubes (7).

11.7.2 Reassembly of backrest unit

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order.
Caution:
The self-locking nut (12) must always be replaced.
It may be necessary to relocate the nuts (6) in the backrest tubes (7) and to fix them in
place by jamming.
