Twister/Twister Junior
• Loosen tapping screws (24) completely and detach the backrest belt (26) from the backrest
frame tube (1) or press backrest upholstery (25) from the backrest frame tube (1).
Note:
The backrest upholstery can also be removed while the backrest frame tube is being
mounted.
• If necessary, remove countersunk tapping screws (22) and detach clamping pieces (23).
• Loosen the machine screws (15) on the bracket (13) and remove the release lever (12).
• Pinch off caps (25) and pull the Bowden cable (20) out of its cover (24).
Caution:
Do not remove the support bracket (11) completely, otherwise the seat frame will only
be supported by the threaded spindle or by the seat tilt adjustment actuator and will
therefore be unstable.

9.12.2 Reassembly of the backrest elements

• Reassembly takes place in the reverse order.
Note:
• The release lever Bowden cable (12) must be adjusted so that if a gas pressure
spring (17) is fitted, the link inside the fork piece is allowed of play of approx. 15 mm
when the release lever (12) is operated.
• The backrest upholstery (25) must be inserted carefully in order not to damage the
clamping pieces (23).
