11.6.1 Disassembly of armrests

Note:
The joystick box and the unlatching unit for the gas pressure spring (if necessary)
should be removed before completely disassembling the armrests.
The attachment for the joystick box is screwed underneath the armrest tube (6) together
with the lateral trunk support attachment (11).
The gas pressure spring unlatching unit is fixed to the armrest tube (6) with two clamps
and an additional attachment.
Remove Allen screws (10) with 4 mm Allen key and remove trunks support (13) together
with trunk support attachment (11), circular washers (12) and armrest padding (1) from the
armrest tube (6).
Push the trunk support cover (7) back a little so that the screws (9) can be reached, and
loosen the screws with a Phillips screwdriver so that the trunk support padding (13) can be
separated from the attachment (11).
Opened the zips and remove the trunk support cover (7) from the trunk support padding
(13).
Loosen nut (15) with 13 mm spanner and pull the armrest tube (6) together with locking
washer (3) out of the armrest holder (2).
Completely release Allen screws (5) with 6 mm spanner, and remove bolts (5) with washer
(4) and locking washer (3) from the armrest tube.
Loosen four screws (14) with 4 mm spanner and remove armrest holder (2) from backrest
tubes.

11.6.2 Reassembly of armrests

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order.
Caution:
The self-locking nuts (15 ) must be replaced every time.
When reassembling the locking washer (3) and the armrest tube (6), do not completely
tighten screws (5) because the armrest tilt must be adjusted after reassembles
completed.
Only tighten the nuts (15) enough so that the armrests can be tilted.
If clamps or fixings for BUS cables or Bowden cables were present on the armrest tube
(6) or on the lateral trunk support attachment (11), fit these again.
