17.6 Replacing actuator of automatic seat back adjustment or support
tube for manual seat back adjustment.
Note:
The illustration shows an electric seat back adjustment. In the manual seat back
adjustment, the actuator motor is replaced by a tube with various selectable fastening
points (also see ET Catalogue).
17.6.1

Disassembly

If electrical seat lean adjustment is fitted,
pull out the actuator motor cable
connection (2) and remove cable binder if
necessary.
Loosen hexagon head screw (4) and nut
(3) and take out the actuator motor (2), or
the support tube respectively.
Pull off the snap buckle (1) and remove the
actuator motor or the support tube.
Note:
On the Twister Junior, the actuator
motor is fixed at the top and bottom
with the snap buckle.
17.6.2
Reassembly takes place in the reverse
order.
Caution:
The cables must be fixed anew by
means of clamps or cable binders in a
way where they cannot rub or get
pinched.
The hexagon nut (3) is self-locking
and is not to be used again.
Carry out a performance test.
