DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Step
1 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND
TCM CONNECTOR.
1)Disconnect the connectors from ECM and
TCM.
2)Measure the resistance of harness between
ECM and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(B135) No. 17 — Chassis ground:
2 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND
TCM CONNECTOR.
Measure the resistance of harness between
ECM and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(B135) No. 16 — Chassis ground:
Check
Is the resistance less than 10
Ω?
Is there resistance less than 10
Ω?

Yes
Repair the ground Go to step 2.
