Simple Encryption
This can be specified by the network administrator.
When a sophisticated encryption method cannot be enabled, simple encryption can be applied. For
example, SSL/TLS is unavailable when you are editing the Address Book with User Management
Tool or using the ScanRouter delivery software to send documents from DeskTopBinder. In such cases,
selecting [Do not Restrict] applies simple encryption, which will help maintain the security of your data.
When SSL/TLS can be enabled, select [Restrict] for this function.
For details about specifying SSL/TLS, see "Setting the SSL/TSL Encryption Mode".
If you select [Restrict], specify the encryption setting using the printer driver.

Authenticate Current Job
This can be specified by the machine administrator.
This setting lets you specify whether or not authentication is required for operations such as canceling
jobs under the printer function.
If you select [Login Privilege], authorized users and the machine administrator can operate the printer.
When this is selected, authentication is not required for users who logged in to the printer before [Login
Privilege] was selected.
If you select [Access Privilege], users who canceled a print job in progress and the machine
administrator can operate the printer.
Even if you select [Login Privilege] and log in to the printer, you cannot cancel a print job in progress
if you are not authorized to use the printer function.
You can specify [Authenticate Current Job] only when [User Authentication Management] is already
specified.
