Internet connection and reconnect again.

Settings

WAN-PING blocking
The PING signal is usually used to check, if an active computer is available for a cer-
tain IP address. Sometimes, this function is misused to spy on computers. This menu
is used to disable an answer to a PING signal.
Remote configuration via Internet
If you wish to remote configure your telephone system via Internet, you have to en-
able this function in this menu. The access is made via the IP address of your ADSL
access with port 80.

DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)

The DMZ setting is used in order to make all IP packets from the WAN transparently
available to a certain PC in the LAN. Thus you can use all services for this PC in the
LAN as if it were directly connected to the DSL modem. Enter the IP address of the
desired PC in the selection field "DMZ".
Function:
For the transmission of IP packets from the WAN into the LAN, the IP address of your
WAN access will be replaced with the IP address entered in the selection field "DMZ"
and vice versa for the transmission of IP packets from the LAN into the WAN.
Note: The IP address of the relevant PC should be fixed and may not be included
in the range of IP addresses of the DHCP server. Firewall settings do not apply for
the computer with this IP address. Therefore, you should install a local firewall on
this computer for security reasons.
