Groups

It is possible to assign several subscribers to one extension (also to analogue exten-

sions). Vice versa, a call for one subscriber can also be signalled at several exten-

sions. Thus a group or team signalling is possible.

Example: Definition of a group

The analogue extensions 1 to 4 and the external MSN are assigned to subscriber

(group) 20. Thus, subscriber 20 forms a group which is signalled at the extensions 1

to 4.

Example: An external call for the group shall also be signalled externally to

one member of the group

Assign the group's incoming MSN to a further subscriber. Program a call forwarding

to the desired external target for this additional subscriber. Now, a call will be sig-

nalled to the group and to the call forwarding target.

SMS distribution list

An incoming SMS (SMS in the fixed network) shall only be signalled at certain exten-

sions (for example tiptel 340 clip or tiptel 193):

First, you have to create the subscriber "SMS" (for example: subscriber name = SMS,

MSN = 78) and assign the external MSN to this subscriber, via which the SMS server

calls you. Finally you have to define, at which extensions the MSN 78 shall be sig-

nalled.
