In this menu you can select one subscriber for the switchboard function. The follow-
ing calls will be routed to this subscriber:
•
calls for a DDI / MSN which has been assigned to no internal subscriber
•
calls for an unknown DDI
•
calls for this subscriber
Entry of MSN/DDI for the individual external S
This menu is used to define the phone numbers for each external S
For a point-to-multipoint access, you receive up to 10 phone numbers (MSNs) for
each S
port.

For a point-to-point access, you receive a base number, which must be followed by
extension numbers (DDIs). Enter the desired extension number (DDI) without base
number. It is not allowed to assign one phone number (MSN/DDI) to various external
ports. However, external and internal phone numbers may be identical.
Note: It is not important for the signalling of incoming calls, under which external
S
the MSN/DDI has been entered.

Call forwarding external
A call forwarding can be set for each MSN at a point-to-multipoint access. The item
"number of call forwardings" informs you for how many MSNs a call forwarding has
been enabled. In order to change the call forwarding, select the desired MSN and
enter the desired data in the lower entry fields. Should several external S
used, individual settings are possible for each S
If the call forwarding is reprogrammed via a parallel connected terminal unit, also the
settings of the telephone system will be changed accordingly, provided that the ISDN
feature CFI is available. If the feature CFI is not available, the reprogrammed parame-
ters will automatically be reset within the telephone system after a very short delay
(depending on the exchange office).
