Protocol recording
If this feature is enabled, internal processes will be written to a data file. The protocol
recording is intended for service only and should only be enabled if our service per-
sonnel asks you to do so.
Date / Time
Your telephone system provides of a buffered clock module. The system time can be
set either via the web configuration or via the ISDN network (if available). The date /
time information is used for creating call data records.
Service functions
Protocol data file
Here you can save the protocol data file on your PC.
Configuration data file
Here you can save the current configuration on your PC.
Firmware version
Here the firmware version of your telephone system is displayed.
Upload (update / configuration)
Loading new operating software:
This menu is used to download the updated firmware version from our homepage
www.tiptel.com. Select the new firmware version with the ending .fls on your PC.
Note: After a firmware update, the telephone system will automatically be re-
started. The current settings remain unchanged.
During the download and the initialization phase of the telephone system, the
power supply may IN NO WAY be interrupted. Should the update fail, please con-
tact the support team of TIPTEL AG.
Loading configuration data:
This menu is used to transfer the current configuration data to your telephone sys-
tem. After a data back-up, select the configuration data with the ending .cfg on your
PC.
