Number of redialling attempts (only for ISDN)
Here you can determine the number of redialling attempts after an unsuccessful at-
tempt to establish an Internet connection. The interval of dialling attempts is 3 sec-
onds.
PPTP provider / modem IP address (only for PPTP)
The PPTP modem provides a TCP/IP network at the Ethernet interface. Enter the IP
address of your modem here. Requests from your telephone system will be routed to
this address. The IP address can be found in the modem's User's Manual.
PPTP local IP address (only for PPTP)
Enter the IP address of your tiptel 3022 office / tiptel 3011 office here. Your modem
will send the answers to this address.
PPTP service identifier (only for PPTP)
Some providers need a service identifier. Enter the service identifier, which has been
predetermined by the provider, here.
Connection control
Admitted connection setup
Here you can enable different authorisations for Internet dialling-in. Beneath „dis-
abled", the following authorisation levels exist:

Manual dialling-in (connect):
In the menu „Internet dialling-in" the box „connect" is enabled. When clicking on
this item, connection setup will be started. The connection can either be termi-
nated by clicking on "disconnect" or via the connection control.

Dialling-in on demand:
In the menu „Internet dialling-in" additionally the box "dialling-in on demand" is
enabled. When clicking on this item, the automatic connection setup will be
started. The connection to the Internet will automatically be established as soon
as an Internet page is called up. This function will be disabled with "disconnect".
The Internet connection will be terminated via the connection control.

Always online:
In the menu „Internet dialling-in" additionally the box „always online" is enabled.
When clicking on this item, the connection setup will immediately be started.
Should your provider terminate the connection, your telephone system will im-
mediately reconnect you. The connection will not be terminated upon inactivity.
