Mounting of the telephone system
The tiptel 3022 office / 3011 office has been designed for wall mounting. The neces-
sary screw distance is 200 mm.
Required tools
•
percussion drill with 6 mm stone drill adapter
•
screwdrivers in different sizes
•
edge cutter, stripper, possibly crimping tool for Western plug
Order of mounting steps
You should observe the following order of mounting steps:
•
determination of ISDN cabling versions and corresponding wiring
•
wiring of the wall outlets
•
determination of a suitable mounting place
•
wall mounting of the telephone system
•
checking of jumper settings and modification if necessary
•
connection of terminal devices
•
connection of the telephone system to network termination and ADSL modem
•
connection of the telephone system to 230 V mains network
Installation of the telephone system
1.
Mount the telephone system in a suitable place.
2.
Open the wiring compartment cover.
3.
