Configuration via ISDN
You can also configure the telephone system via ISDN.
You can either establish the connection via one of the internal ISDN ports or exter-
nally via the public exchange.
Note: It is necessary that an ISDN interface card/adapter incl. CAPI driver has
been correctly installed.
Install a dial-up network and select your ISDN interface card / adapter in the menu
"new connection". As phone number simply enter the pre-set phone number 99 with-
out prefix.
User name and password are identical to the configuration via LAN (admin/admin).
Configuration via RS 232
The telephone system has an RS 232 port, which can be used for configuration in-
stead of LAN or ISDN.
The installation of a standard modem is necessary for the configuration. Access to
the telephone system is then established via a dial-up connection.
Connect the RS 232 cable to the telephone system and a free serial port of your PC.
Install a standard modem 33600 bps for the interface to which you have connected
the cable.
Use the following parameters for the modem configuration:
•
