Board Actions

The Following actions can be performed on an ES Board by right-clicking (same
actions on both active and redundant ES boards): Lock, Unlock, Align All Boards
To Me, and Clear Severity.
When the ES is locked, the appropriated OAM port (according to the Interface
separation configuration) is color coded green or red according the the link severities.
The Media and Control port (when separated from OAM) is color coded gray.

12.3
Configuring the Subnets & IP Addresses of the
Media Gateway
Using the appropriate table in 'Defining IP Parameters' on page 50, set the Media
Gateway IP addresses for a single subnet or for 3 subnets for configuration between
OAM, Media and Control.
Note:
To configure the Subnets and IP addresses, take these 3 steps:
1.
On the MG Status screen of the EMS (showing a graphic representation of the
Avaya G860 Media Gateway, click the Properties link. The Media Gateway
Parameters Provisioning screen appears.
2.
In the Parameters list to the left, select the Subnet Separation Tab.
3.
In the Subnet Separation screen, do one of the following:

The number of VLANs is greater or equal to the number of subnets.
If you require a single subnet, mark the Single Subnet for all media
gateway checkbox and enter the IP addresses for the following:
Global IP Address
Default Gateway Address
Subnet Mask
If your configuration requires separate subnets for OAM, Media and Control,
mark the 3 Subnet per OAM, Media and Control checkbox and in the table
that appears below, enter the IP addresses for each row (OAM, Media and
Control) for the Default GW, Subnet Mask and Subnet IP.
