Collecting logs for Avaya Technical Support (for
troubleshooting)
When the customer is asked to collect and send all or part of the log files in the Media
Gateway system for analysis, the following command should be executed at SC level:
perl Project/scripts/sc_collect.pl current
This command collects all current log files at SC board level and core file. It generates
the sc_collect_current.tar.gz file to be transferred for analysis.
Example:
M5K-CALAMA-M::~# perl Project/scripts/sc_collect.pl current
Collecting debug data
mode: "current"
to file: /sc_collect_current.tar.gz
Done.
perl Project/scripts/sc_collect.pl boards
Collects the log information for all the TP boards in the chassis.
It generates the sc_collect_current.tar.gz file to be transferred
for analysis.
