Procedure 5
Upgrade to fiber-optic connection
1 Log in and perform a data dump on the existing system.
You must do this step to make sure you back up any changes made
after the last data dump.
a Load Overlay program 43 (LD 43).
b Enter command EDD.
c Wait until the data dump finishes.
2 Disconnect the power from the main and expansion cabinets.
Set the circuit breaker switch on the front of the power supply unit in
each cabinet to OFF.
If equipped with reserve battery power, set the circuit breaker switch
inside the reserve battery power units to OFF.
3 Disconnect and remove the NTAK1204 or NTAK1205 cable from
both cabinets (see Figure 24 on page 68).

4 Remove the ground connection from the ground lug in the main
cabinet.
