▪ A trouble code (C-02XX) will be displayed if the tray lift-up failure cannot be cleared even when action has been taken by
following the Guidance.
Resetting procedures
1. Open the corresponding door, clear the sheet of paper misfeed, and close the door.
2. Touch "OK" displayed on the touch panel.
1.2 Initial check items
• When a paper misfeed occurs, first perform the following initial check items.
Does paper meet product specifications?
Is the paper curled, wavy, or damp?
Is a foreign object present along the paper path, or is the paper path deformed or
worn?
Are rolls or rollers dirty, deformed, or worn?
Are the paper size and the detected paper size by the edge guide are matching?
Are the actuators operating correctly?

Replace paper.
Replace paper.
Instruct user on proper paper storage.
Clean the paper path or replace the part on the paper
path if necessary.
Clean the defective roll or roller.
Replace the defective roll or roller.
Adjust the edge guide to match the paper size.
Correct the defective actuator.
