INSPECTION

1. Inspect:
S Carburetor body
S Fuel passage
Contamination ! Clean.
NOTE:
S Use a petroleum based solvent for cleaning.
S Blow out all passages and jets with com-
pressed air.
2. Inspect:
S Float 1
Damage ! Replace.
3. Inspect:
S Valve seat 1
S Needle valve 2
Wear/contamination ! Replace.
NOTE:
Always replace the needle valve and valve seat
as a set.
4. Inspect:
S Main jet 1
S Main nozzle 2
S Pilot jet 3
Contamination ! Clean or replace.
5. Inspect:
S Pilot screw 1
S Starter plunger 2
Wear/damage ! Replace.
